National health campaigns for 2025/26
Action Window Now Open: The first required national campaign under the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) 2025/26 is currently up and running. All pharmacy contractors are required to participate in both national campaigns this year, with both focused on promoting the Pharmacy First service to the public.
Campaign Period 1: Monday, October 20, 2025 – Sunday, November 9, 2025
How to Meet the Campaign Requirement
You must take appropriate action to promote the service during the campaign period. You can fulfil this contractual requirement in several ways:
- In-Store Promotion: Display posters, leaflets, or other promotional materials relating to the Pharmacy First service within the pharmacy.
- Digital Channels: Include information on your pharmacy’s website or post content via your social media channels.
- Patient Contact: Include service details in emails or SMS messages sent to patients.
National Support and Resources
This first campaign coincides with a national NHS England advertising push (running from October 20, 2025, through to early January 2026) promoting Pharmacy First and the Contraception Service.
Resources: Updated digital materials for Pharmacy First are available to download from the DHSC Campaign Resource Centre starting from October 20, 2025.
Future Campaign Date: The second mandatory national Pharmacy First campaign will run from Monday, February 2, 2026, to Sunday, February 22, 2026.
