1st August 2025, 3pm-3.45pm | COVID-19 and Flu: Webinar where the NHS RAVs portal team will explain their system and offerings (for pharmacy owners and team members involved with IT system supplier decisions or who are interested in considering whether to change the PoC system that they use to make their clinical records for the Flu and COVID-19 vaccination services during the Autumn/Winter 2025/26 campaign).
Action: If interested in attending the webinar, register for the event. |
1st August 2025 |
Flu (Children): Pharmacy owners who wish to provide the Flu Vaccination Advanced Service for children aged 2-3 years can sign up to provide the service on the NHSBSA MYS portal. In order to receive vaccine ahead of the start of the service on 1st October 2025, pharmacy owners will need to register on MYS by 11.59pm on 31st August 2025. Later registration will be possible, but the provision of the centrally procured vaccine will be received after the starting date for the service.
Action: If you wish to register to provide the service, sign up on the MYS portal by 11.59pm on 31st August 2025. |
Pharmacy First: Updated Pharmacy First caps come into force for August 2025.
Action: If not already done so, check the NHSBSA website to see what your Pharmacy First cap is for this month. |

11th August 2025 | Flu: Deadline to register for the National Booking Service (NBS) for the 2025/26 flu season if you want to receive login details before 18th August 2025.
Later applications (open until 9th March 2026) will receive their login details within 10 working days. Action: If you want to receive your login details before 18th August 2025, register for NBS by the end of the day. |
18th August 2025 | COVID-19 and Flu: The National Booking Service (NBS) opens for all participating sites to post COVID-19 and flu appointments.
Action: If you are using NBS, add your appointment slots to the system. |
