Autumn/Winter Covid 19 and/or Flu Campaign

Community pharmacies not already signed up to the autumn/winter COVID-19 and/or flu campaign should sign up as soon as possible:

• Pharmacies who signed up for COVID-19 vaccination delivery in Spring 2026 and have not since de-registered do not need to take any further action currently
• Advanced service specification is here
• Sign up is available via the MYS portal

Pharmacies requiring user-level access to the Federated Data Platform (vaccine ordering) and/or Manage Your Appointments (to offer appointments on the National Booking Service) should also complete the Vaccination Provider System Access Request form

Off-site Vaccination

 We would like to draw your attention to the following paragraph from the Advanced Service Specification. This requires Pharmacies to obtain consent from the commissioners if they wish to carry out vaccinations at a location other than the registered pharmacy premises.

 4.12. The pharmacy contractor must obtain consent from the Commissioner if they wish to carry out vaccinations at a location that is not the pharmacy premises and this location must be in the same NHS England region as the pharmacy contractor’s registered premises. Where the pharmacy contractor obtains consent from the Commissioner to provide vaccinations away from their pharmacy premises, the majority of vaccinations must still be delivered from the pharmacy contractor’s registered premises (except for DSP pharmacies).
