MenB Service – RAVS, MYA and NHS Profile Manager
Some FAQs will be uploaded onto Futures soon. Meanwhile, here are some answers to some other questions that have been asked.
RAVS: a question was asked about advice earlier in the week relating to clearing the cache and whether a long term solution is being investigated. Apparently there was a release earlier this week to patch an existing issue relating to onboarding sites, which caused a subsequent issue in which the session data for users was reading from cached information rather than the live data. The advice to clear the cache was a one-off action to fix that specific issue.
If providers have cleared their cache and are still experiencing any issues, these are likely unrelated issues, and providers should contact the RAVS support team who can investigate and look to resolve these issues.
MYA: Providers can access their MYA account and review their bookings. If individuals are presenting advising that they have an NBS booking, which the pharmacy is not aware of, it would be helpful if pharmacies could raise this with the MYA helpdesk (NHS.net Connect helpdesk on 0333 200 1133 or helpdesk@nhs.net).
NHS Profile Manager: We have now been advised that MenB information is not a service that a pharmacy can edit via the Profile Manager – it will automatically appear on their profile page if they have registered as offering this service.
The information for profile manager is managed centrally using a list of actively participating pharmacies. Once a pharmacy has raised their first order for vaccine, MenB will be added to Profile Manager within a few days. As such, there is no action required for pharmacies in relation to this point. Apologies for any confusion on this.
