Prescribing perspectives – weight management face to face events on the following days.
Join us and your colleagues to discuss your prescribing/consultation experiences and network with your peers. This workshop is designed to support the development of both pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. You will learn about useful tools and resources and discuss an interesting prescribing conundrum with your peers.

Enrol on our new workshop and get stuck into a prescribing conundrum based around the Menopause. Discuss working in those grey areas with your colleagues and help to meet an important and growing demand in this area.

PGDs: Empowering pharmacy technicians to provide services : CPPE
This interactive workshop is designed specifically to help pharmacy technicians now authorised to use Patient Group Directions (PGDs) to step confidently into their expanding role. You’ll gain the tools and confidence to make safe, informed supply and non-supply decisions, removing the uncertainty that often comes with new clinical responsibilities.

Learn more about the different types of inhaler devices available, how the delivered dose is made in each type, the breathing technique required for each type and the potential implications of sub-optimal technique.

NHS Pharmacy First: Clinical assessment and examination skills full-day workshop : CPPE
Develop your knowledge, skills and confidence so you can safely undertake effective consultations, communications and clinical assessments in order to provide the NHS Pharmacy First service.
You will need to bring along your own otoscope to use during the workshop – this is important to ensure that you have adequate time available to practise examination skills.
